spa cloths!

So like, I just discovered I love these hand knitted wash cloths (called "spa cloths") - they feel so good on your skin. I don't think I'll ever use a regular wash cloth again! I've been using that sugar n cream that you see at Meijers and Kmart. (never knew what to do with it - love all the colors.)

I also discovered they have a different ones in every issue of Creative Knitting so I went to the library and borrowed the last year that they had and am busy copying the patterns. Below is the pictures of the first two - one completed, the other one I'm almost done.

Also I'm still working on leg warmers for me.....since it's 90 degrees out right now I won't need them for awhile. I like to have a couple projects going, though, because sometimes, like at break time, I only have a few minutes and don't want to get into a compliclated row.....so if I have something easy going I have something I can pick up and work on and not think about it. The leg warmers are just knit one, purl one round and round for 25 inches. I got one done and it's soft yarn and feels really good on my leg.

Below is a picture of my tail yarn around a bread tab - you know, those plastic tabs that close the top of the bread. Sometimes you want to leave a long tail yarn but it keeps getting tangled, or you accidently start knitting with that instead of the working yard (grrrrrr!!), and you wrap the tail around the plastic tab and it keeps it out of the way. Found that tip in a magazine.
