I finished Kristen's leg warmers, but, hmmmm.....we don't care for them so I'm going to attempt to make a trip to the frog pond (rip it, rip it) and see if I can fix them - mainly that bottom white band, didn't come out like I envisioned - if not, oh well, I'll start again.
Also I made another Cell phone / MP3 player case. This time using cotton yarn - that Sugar 'n Cream stuff I see at Meijer's all the time. I borrowed another DVD from the library and learned how to use that cable needle that my knitter's starter kit came with. I had no idea what it was for when I first saw it. It came out nice and I learned that cables are pretty easy! :)
I made it like the other one, with an insert in the middle so I have two pockets. Also this time I made little squares, and sewed them on one side of the neck cord and put a snap on the other side of each square so I can get my headphones in and out of the cord easier.
And now I'm working on another pair of legwarmers (for me!) My legs get cold in winter, so since it's summer now I have a lot of time to finish them.
