I Can Knit!!

Over a year ago I decided I wanted to learn how to knit socks. I hate that you can't find socks without the toe seam right across the toe. That seam drives me crazy! But first I had to learn how to knit. I knew the basics (or so I thought) - I've spent a lot of time with Mr. Frog (rip it, rip it). I've posted a few pictures of some of my accomplishments so far - and, finally, THE SOCKS! (I am so proud!)

The purses (Sold them all and paid my water bill).



I kept this one.



Scarf (wrap and turn stitches to make the triangles).

Another purse - I made the buttons from polymer clay.

Socks for Spencer (well they turned out more like house slippers).

I found a skein of Magic Stripes (lion brand - discontinued they say now) on sale at Meijer. They striped themself as you knit them.
