Turning the heels

Still working on the "nanner socks" by Wendy Johnson (http://www.wendyknits.net/). Just turned the heels. I'm doing 2 socks at once on 2 circular needles, so this being only the 2nd pair of socks (or is it the 3rd?) I've done this way, I'm still slow at it, especially the heels. Also this is my first pair of toe up socks and these heels are done differently than the patterns I've done before.

Love the pattern. Love that you don't have to pick up stitches for the gusset for the heels, but not loving "wrap and turn". You wrap a stitch and then when you go back across you're suppose to pick up the "wraps" and knit them into their stitch..........however, I can't find them until after I'm well past them!! Not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong yet.

As you can see (or not - but I put in an arrow), these are "wraps" I missed. Grrrr.

Of course, no one will see them........but I'll know. Next time I'll be more careful, and the time after that I'll be more careful even more (because at this point.....I ain't going back).......and the goal is.....some day........perfection! :)

But, not bad........definitely wearable.............I can't wait to wear them! And that's the good part of the 2 at once socks - off the needle, right on to the feet! :)
